Then came Ellen

I'm leaving in a few days for my writing retreat, but I have managed to convince one of my long-suffering friends to post things to my blog while I'm gone. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Ellen Twiname.

Ellen's posting this bit for me while I walk her through it, as a test. While I'm in Holden Village in Washington, there are no phones, so no internet access. I'll be sending Ellen postcards, and she'll post them to the blog. What fun, eh!? We'll see how long she can put up with it.
