Fake of the day
A convicted sex offender who posed as English nobility was revealed as a fake by some high school journalists.
Here's a tip: if you're trying to pass yourself off as a British toff, make up better titles than "the Duke of Cleveland" and "the Earl of Scooby."

"I was convinced at first but something did not add up," said Matt Murphy, 17, co-editor in chief of The Pony Express. "I did some research, and there is no Duke of Cleveland. He said he lived in the castle Falkland, which does not exist and which he spelled wrong."
We can't get enough of this story here in MN. I just about fell off my chair laughing.
I come to you as someone who has known Josh "caspian for a few years or so. Not only was he a fake... BUT he is also GAY. The 17yo he was staying with in stillwater, was his lover. Posing to his parents as just another of their son's friends... he held that as a fraud too. You can just tell by looking at his Myspace.com/earlofscooby profile. PLaying the song "Rent"... come on, how gay is that? Comeing from a gay many myself.. who I might add have had sexual encounters with him, know that everything about that site is completely gay in nature.
OH so many stories I could tell you that the press never divulged, because the just didn't know the whole gay side of his exhistance. I think it was in his interview that he'd stated he'd been using the accent since last november or something? Hell, when I first met him, (online @ gay.com) he was giving that dukeDUMB story... that was roughly 3ish years ago. Like I said, so many stories I wish I could have gone to the press with, it would have made the story even MORE entertaining.
Thanks for listening
