It ain't pretty
The Giants won a few games after they learned their million dollar closer, Armando Benitez, had been badly injured and wouldn't be back for months. But the truth is catching up to them. Today they blew a 4-0 lead in the 4th and a 8-7 lead in the 9th to lose 11-8. After they went down meekly in the bottom of the 9th, the capacity crowd booed them off the field, says the Chronicle. I have no sympathy for them. I was there last night and saw play just as bad. And I booed. Sad state of affairs.
